Boston February 2013

We left for Boston right after I got home from Seattle.  It was way fun to see the boys and Janelle and Scott.  They had gotten a lot of snow the weekend before and it was perfect to play in!  I don't think we've had a good playing snow in awhile, so it was pretty fun.

Love this one of Alan :)

Mom working hard on the slide and Alan playing

Evan enjoying eating the snow

Ready to go!!

The finished product of the slide!

It was WAY fun.

Alan going down

Everyone loves the slide

James even enjoyed it!

This is a really cute picture !!

Evan going down on his stomach

Building snow forts

I think Alan's second favorite thing was dropping snowballs on Uncle Evan...I dont think Uncle Evan felt the same way haha

Working on the fort

The snow was a little high for Jamesy, he preferred to stomp in the mud

The almost finished snow fort!

Time for some food inside after all our work in the snow!

James...was less than pleased haha

And of course we played some Headbandz with Alan.  Curious George and Simba joined us too :)

Alan, Evan, Mom, Dad, and I all went to the Children's Museum in Boston too.  It was dollar night, and we got Happy Meals on the way :)  I think Alan had a good time!

Alan and Evan got all the way to the top!

I decided to participate...I'm 19 I promise

The rock wall was actually really hard haha, I couldn't make it to the end...and believe it or not I had pretty long legs compared to some of the kids attempting to do it too haha.

Mom and her bat.  She really loves bats, actually.  Right mom?

But in all seriousness I do love giraffes haha

Alan playing with this very agressive boy haha.  I don't think Alan really wanted to play...but this boy sure did!

Evan and his giant bubble blowing!

Instead of going down the slide some more, we went to a park and tried the hills there.  They were a little icy and rough on the rear haha.

James and Uncle Nate

Not too sure he wanted to be sitting there

Getting ready to race!

James liked it, I promise haha.

Happy James

Mom and I think that Alan with the hat and rosy cheeks, Alan could be one of the Peruvian kids in the cold.  So cute!

We alos got to celebrate Janelle's birthday a week early!

James

The lively Nathan

Just getting started...

Really enjoying himself!!

This isn't the best video of James dancing...of course whenever you pull the camera out they stop.  But we did have fun dancing!

James was pretty ticklish this day...and this video shows it well.  What a cute little guy!

Thanks Janelle and Scott for letting us come visit before I go back to school :)
PS.  Janelle have you showed James the video of him laughing? I think he would like it haha.

  1. Cute pictures and videos! I'd like to know more about this bat and mom :) It sounds like there's a story there. And by the way, I'd TOTALLY be playing at the kids museum. That stuff's awesome! And thats why you become an Elementary School teacher...so that you can do it in your classroom :)

  2. Super cute. I also liked the bat picture, but had no idea what was going on. I'm so glad you got to come up before you went back!

  3. Haha, Mom tells it so much better than me. She went to Aldi's and brought her boxes. Well, when she got her boxes out of the car, a bat was hanging in one of them! So she dropped it on the ground and it didnt move but she could tell it was breathing (and mom is a sucker for animals). She didnt want it to be hit by a car so she tried to pick it up with a piece of paper, but the little thing woke up and hissed at her, showing its fang teeth and all...nonetheless, mom stopped caring, dropped it, and got straight in the car and left! Haha, I hope that's all accurate. You'll have to ask her about it next time you talk to her!

  4. HAHAHAHHAHA I am so glad that I checked to see if I had commented on this post or not because that bat story is the best thing that I've ever heard. I like cannot breathe at all right now. Such a funny visual.
